Toronto is the Second-Greatest City in the World for Business

Toronto second to only New York City for business

A new report from PriceWaterhouseCoopers has named Toronto the second-best city to live for business.

The report looked at the top 26 cities in the world for business, life and innovation, with Toronto coming in just behind New York City as the best city in the world for business.

What sets Toronto apart? According to the report, Toronto’s “smart immigration policies” allow the city to obtain and keep the talent it needs to succeed in business.

The Top Five Cities in the World for Business:

1. New York City

2. Toronto

3. San Francisco

4. Stockholm

5. Sydney

The Bottom Five (of the best) Cities in the World for Business:

1. Santiago

2. Istanbul

3. Sao Paulo

4. Johannesburg

5. Mumbai

According to the report, Toronto is not quite “there” when compared to business powerhouses like New York, Paris or Tokyo, but it’s fast becoming a contender.
