Rania Abboud received her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree from Western State University, College of Law and her Bachelors of Commerce (B.Com) from Ryerson University in Business Management, Finance and Law. She was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2011, and became a licensed Barrister and Solicitor with the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2014.

Rania primarily consults on in US and Canadian Immigration Law. She assists individuals and international corporations with cross border issues and handles a wide range of applications including U.S. consular matters, USCIS matters, Canadian permanent residence applications through express entry, Canadian and U.S. citizenship applications, intra-company transferee work permits, L1’s, NAFTA work permits, study permits, judicial reviews and matters before the Immigration Appeal Division.

Prior to joining our team, Rania spent several years working as an associate with a boutique immigration firm in California, where she facilitated the temporary and permanent entry of refugees, family-based applicants, entrepreneurs and investors into the United States. She is also fluent in English and Arabic.
